After attending a rather exhausting surprise birthday party (at his own house), Athrun receives an unusual, yet deeply symbolic birthday gift from Cagalli.
If you'd like to know more about the story behind this fanart, I wrote a short piece of fanfiction to accompany the picture - a one shot called: A Gift of Remembrance. I drew this for  Athrun's Birthday Celebration 2008 , hosted by  ! It's not too late to join in the birthday fun!
